Jack got his start in home-services while in high school, where he started an interior painting company to gain general business experience. It wasn’t until much later, though—after ending a vertical farming project he pursued while in college—that he saw the venture-scale opportunity. Jack was enamored of how efficient the agriculture industry was. When he compared it to the interior painting market, he realized that after decades of stagnation, the industry he grew up with had become severely antiquated.

 

Jack decided to leave Rutgers University, where he was studying computer science and management, to jump back into home-services with a new mission.

Jack has been working in startups since the age of sixteen.
