Tom has six years of development across the stack. He was a full-stack developer at successful startups like Blue Apron and Oscar Health before joining the SHS team to develop Pavo—our web app.

 

At Blue Apron, he built proprietary internal tools and learned about a technical executive’s role in a fast-growing organization. Tom transitioned to a new role when he started at Oscar Health. Here, he designed and built core infrastructure that was used at scale and took notes from the founders on how to disrupt technologically-antiquated industries.

 

He quit Oscar to work on a startup of his own, eParel—an outfit management company for the hospitality industry—which is now waiting for a post-COVID-19 world. Kevin, his Co-founder introduced him to Jack and that relationship led to Tom becoming the CSO at SHS.
